For two magical and very cold nights in 2021 and 2022, paperwork, permits, and clear skies came together. A small group stayed behind after closing to take in the the astounding sight of the milky way over the dunes. Thanks to astronomer Chuck Shroll we had a telescope and VERY powerful laser pointers. Even in the bitter cold, the views were out of this world.
